Why do the NFL persist with this nonsense effort to “build an international audience”? We have college American football games in Dublin seemingly every year now, London gets NFL games in Wembley a good bit, but the only people who go to these games are yanks. The NFL will never build an international audience because American football is extremely shit. They should spend their time figuring out how they’ve managed to get Americans to endure this mind numbingly dull spectacle and just be thankful they managed to achieve that. In the rest of the world we’re fortunate enough to have sports more entertaining than watching paint dry so we’re unlikely to ever get on board with American football.
