She was a kid who got brainwashed and followed the medical advisement given to her. Never blindly trust a doctor. It's your body and you are responsible for it and you can't defer that responsibility to a doctor. But she was 15. She didn't understand that. We tell 15 year olds that they are too young to understand what sex is. I'd say that understanding that medical experts aren't always actually experts or that they can have alternate interests that could get you killed is a higher level concept. So if you can't expect a 15 year old to understand the consequences of sex you can't expect them to understand the consequences of listening to a doctor. People say we need tort reform. I say no. Sue them more.

Yeah i can concur with that, however fck the abject failure of parents as well then.
Not much difference than a kid that hangs out with the wrong crowd after school - against all common sense - and ends up getting raped or killed in a drive by or life in prison because they went along with some shit all the others were doing.
