Just figured out that you can get a good synopsis of historical events using AIs, without the search engine data trail.

Was curious about some things regarding the history of Crimea, Ukraine, and so on, and decided to try asking an AI instead of a search engine. I chose Eleutherai, the open source competitor to GPT, which you can access here: https://6b.eleuther.ai/

The results were far better than I had expected. Aside from the large computing requirement and the response delay, I could see this very soon obsoleting Google as an 'information engine' (which is what Google has been trying to become for the last decade or so).

Anyway, AIs are just autocompletes. To keep things factual and prevent hallucination, I decided to format the prompt as an essay / homework assignment.
