I still half of my last bottle of whatever that bourbon is... it's halfway decent, whatever it is. I like bourbon. And I have a big huge bottle of decent gin I got on sale somewhere a few seasons ago, thinking I might want some G&Ts in the summer... but I seldom have ice aboard and haven't bothered buying any tonicwaters... bla bla. Yeah, the light stuff will do for the time being.

I am pretty sure I have a few other bottles in the liquor locker, vodka and tequila - but the scotch slot is empty because last time I couldn't stop myself and finished off the bottle and a storm kicked up, it was a full gale; unfurled the jib and shook the boat like it really meant it... and I was so fucking drunkk that my solution was to go up on deck and try to wrestle the sail onto the deck. That's all, just wrestle it... I didn't release a halyard, I didn't try furling it... eventually a neighbor came by and suggested I just lower it onto the deck and remove it from the forestay altogether [which I could see I would have to do now regardless, as it was falling to tatters so it would need to be resewn if not replaced!] The sail loft guys did manage to just fix it for a few hundred bucks, which was really lucky, but I felt like a retard for having been THAT drunk and retarded. I digress, a I do...

But that's why there's no scotch aboard anymore. And I miss it. Jameson is good to, if a tad sweet, sort of, yknow?

When I drank a lot I used to brew beer, you can brew 5 gallons for like 40 bucks.

Nowdays I buy a 28 pack of Jalisco for $22 bucks and get an 8 dollar paypal rebate and that lasts a month.

I'll drink to that.
