Now we'll never really know what happened. We were speculating that her mother was super abusive or evil or something... but who the hell knows; they're all dead now.

They say she was shooting at the cops while her dad drove, for at least a part of the chase. Sounds like a father daughter bonding experience, aside from the getting killed part.

While we'll never know 100% what happened, we do know the CPS/court/police policies, and can extrapolate what is likely. Men are evil, women are perfect, except when they say men aren't evil, then they're internalizing male abuse. This has been policy since the 90s, and even if this particular incident isn't caused by the "authorities" many like it have been.

This is an extremely good point.

I have not looked at any of the images, except for the little truck all full of holes they kept showing on the news segment that was on when ma-in-law started squawking about it because she followed that story pretty closely. I was aware of it, of course; it's kind of a relatively local event. But I always assume with 'amber alerts', it's just some creepy government ploy to get us to snitch out our fellow men by accusing them of horrible made up bullshit. But I assume things. And occasionally jump to conclusions. I need a jump to conclusions mat.

Whoever files for divorce should have no expectation of child support, unless theres cause, like infidelity, in which case adulturers should be put in work camps. We have to stop making divorce a viable option. People need to be on the hook for the duration of their kids’ childhood.

But you wouldn't know that from 90% of Amber Alerts, an excuse for rights infringement in the name of "the children". The vast majority of these activations are over custody issues.

Completely correct. And almost never successful in the event of an actual child abduction. The whole Amber Alert system is a complete waste of time and money.
