This could change the face of game preservation if Atlus wins.

Atlus is a corpse puppet for SEGA now. Not surprised they're taking the Nintendo approach.

I don't know who would think that copyright disappears the moment that they close down the servers. This kind of stuff has always been illegal, although often tolerated.

if i own a game legally and hook up with other players that also own it legally and i want to play it with friends even though the game has been death for quite sometime. dont you think that i have the right to do with my copy as i please?

Creating a whole copy website and replacing someone else's copyright notice with yours is more than playing your own game. Of course you have a right to use your copy, however it may not be technically feasible without running server software that someone else owns.

Fuck these cunts! Are they retarded I mean are they stupid jew fucking retards. Real simple allow the people to use the game and they can profit but 50% of profits go to the original company who made it. Sign a strict contract that either says you can always use it if you don't change it? Any changes like doing some nazi shit thry can demand you remove them.

No one loses I hope the company burns to the fucking ground
