U.S. Blew Up Russian Gas Pipelines Nord Stream 1 & 2 - Says Former Polish Defense Minister

A former Polish Defense Minister, Radek Sikorski, has attributed to the United States the sabotage of two pipelines, Nord Stream 1 and 2, which carry natural gas from Russia to Germany.

Nord Stream 1 and 2 lie on the bed of the Baltic Sea and bring gas from Russia to Germany. Nord Stream 2 was finished last year but Germany never opened it.

The second explosion:

President Joe Biden promised on February 7 to prevent Nord Stream 2 from becoming operational if Russia invaded Ukraine. "If Russia invades,” said Biden, “then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it."

I haven't been following this closely, other than reading somewhere it was a leak.

So it was actually blown up? Feck.

I have to say it's unnerving. Glad I live in Australia... however China poses a threat.

yeah, it's not officially sure who did it, this Polish ex-defence minister just said it what is obvious to him.

Did you know that Russia has a huge, nuclear powered, ai controlled, nuclear tipped torpedo.

Its designed to loiter deep dark and slow.
Then upon rx a command detonate and generate a massive tidal wave off of usa coastal cities.

Humanity deserves this. Satan worshippers rule us

This guy is an idiot married to Anne Applebaum and he says what she tells hims to say. Don't trust a word coming out of this moron's mouth.

IMO as a professional arm chair quaterback 3 countries have a vested interest in the destruction of the pipelines. Ukraine, United States, and Saudi Arabia.

I also suspect this is one side of the attack with more to follow. Russian Liqufied natural gas processing facilities (mysterious fires) and Chinese LNG transport ships (sea mines) will probably follow.

[ - ] BlueEyedAngloMasterRaceGod 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 23:21:35 ago (+1/-0)

this is after the US forced germany to give billions to ukraine last year in exchange for allowing the pipeline and no sanctions. so they just scammed germany and fucked them over.

[ - ] HeavyBrain 2 points 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 04:34:08 ago (+2/-0)

Lol you don't need to scam Germany, just call them Nazis and ask for money and you will get it.

they do actually, until China will stab them in the back

[ - ] 1234lkjh 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 29, 2022 01:09:16 ago (+1/-1)

Seriously, it was a good call to blow up their own pipes -- that way they can blame anyone they want, and the oligarchs have to out if they boot Putin.

[ - ] jigganiggaboo 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 05:45:27 ago (+1/-0)

Israeli Mossad probably did it after dumbass Biden said there would be no nordstream if Russia invades and used it as a perfect opportunity to get the goyim to war

Naturally. The US government is basically an especially sophisticated terrorist organization.

I'll keep that in mind :)

Weird thing is, that Germans are probably the only European nation who really love everything about Americans, well true is also that they are slow to change minds on anything, so who knows how will this end.

don't be too optimistic, their indoctrination sits very deep

if the US did it, it must be OK, after all, they are our trusted ally and know what is good for us

Remember that Berlin to Baghdad rail line that was supposed to move all of that oil into Germany? The one that contributed to the two world wars? Wonder whatever happened to that.

[ - ] mxcviel [op] 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 18:40:26 ago (+0/-0)

yeah, to make a railway on old invasions routs, what can go wrong

I believe it, because it only makes things worse for our ‘friends’. Behind the scenes, every one in power wants war.

[ - ] mxcviel [op] 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 18:37:08 ago (+1/-0)

Well that is not hard to figure out, specially bc all things going on in recent years... for me the obvious would be Brits, but I guess any of 5 eyes can't work on their own.
Now it's proven it was an explosion before leaks.

Sweden's National Seismological Network (SNSN) said on Tuesday it had recorded two strong underwater explosions in areas where a leak from Nord Stream 1 and 2 had been found the day before. One of the explosions had a magnitude of 2.3 and was recorded at 30 measuring stations in southern Sweden.

According to the researchers, the first explosion was recorded on the night from Sunday to Monday at 2:03 a.m., and the second on Monday evening at 7:04 p.m

So completely de-pressurized on both pipes with seawater flowing in? This does not sound fixable even though they were not in use, just pressurized. What a giant waste of time, money and resources. We are all going to pay for their sins. The great book says to get out of her unless you want to share in her destruction. Really soon I think Americans will be getting kicked out of foreign countries because of "them".

To do nothing is choosing a side.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer 5 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 20:18:51 ago (+5/-0)

This does not sound fixable

Turn everything off, cut off broken end, seal now-smooth broken end with one-way valve, flush pipe from other end until empty. Repeat with other side of pipe.

Then do some careful underwater repairs, or make a big fuckin' pressurized box covering both ends and repair it from inside.

Probably not worth it monetarily, and there's likely internal seawater damage(unless the pipe is designed to be able to ignore it), but it is possible.

[ - ] boekanier 2 points 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 00:51:33 ago (+2/-0)

and be on the lookout for saboteurs

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 03:42:16 ago (+0/-0)

And have the power to stop them.

All of them.

And their friends.

[ - ] TheViciousMrPim 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 05:25:32 ago (+1/-0)

a big fuckin' pressurized box covering both ends and repair it from inside.

A caisson- caisson, in engineering, boxlike structure used in construction work underwater or as a foundation. It is usually rectangular or circular in plan and may be tens of metres in diameter.

Are the pipelines laid on an inclined path? Because otherwise it won't be that easy to remove the water...

[ - ] Irelandlost 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 05:24:08 ago (+1/-0)

Yep, nobody in Europe is buying the line that the big bad Russians destroyed their own infrastructure and their principal negotiating tool with us. I wouldn’t recommend holidaying in any European countries for a while if you have an American accent.

[ - ] herbert_west 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 05:44:53 ago (+1/-0)

The water in that part of the baltic sea has little salt in it, but even if fixable it's still a huge loss of money.

[ - ] WanderingToast 5 points 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 03:24:25 ago (+5/-0)

Yea, it takes a special kind of retard to believe Russia blew up their own pipeline.

[ - ] HeavyBrain 2 points 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 04:12:31 ago (+2/-0)

Don't worry the average German will buy it and happily freez to death knowing he mad Putin angry.

[ - ] herbert_west 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 28, 2022 05:55:28 ago (+1/-0)

That's what the German newspapers are reporting right now...

[ - ] La_Chalupacabra 6 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 18:51:14 ago (+6/-0)

Even if they weren't in operation, it would still make sense to destroy them before the Germans get cold feet (pun intended) and open negotiations with the Russians.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer 4 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 20:11:45 ago (+4/-0)

That's what I'm thinking. ((Whoever)) is to blame, it's effect is to remove a negotiation chip from the table of possible options. TPTB desperately want another world war.
