Y'all are as stupid as that fucking She Boon Bre Danielle who thought Trump controlled Hurricanes to kill niggers. Bre Danielle

So they say Hurricane Irma is headed for Miami. Did y'all realize 70% of Miami is Latino, Hispanic, or Cuban?? 44% of the Haitian population in the US resides in Miami. Miami is like Houston in which it is FLOURISHING economically. Coincidence? Trump wants them off our land so what better way than to have the government flood them out. Read between the lines people. https://pic8.co/sh/X2ARSE.jpg

??? Thanks , I never heard of this bre girl but no they use the hurricane to drive the people off the islands so they can clear out and become private playgrounds.

Well... fear sells.

[ - ] temetnosce 4 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 13:40:38 ago (+4/-0)

Yes. Local news here, (500 miles away from Florida) 2 local stations both had their noon time weather forecasts live. I flipped between the 2 channels. LIVE---one said wind 110mph, other said wind 150mph---LIVE on air, in real time.

[ - ] I_am_baal 2 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 14:43:35 ago (+2/-0)

Fear also makes people very easy to influence.

Perhaps you're right. But Trust the Science!™

Bill Gates was planning a Florida vacation so he used his space laser to turn it away.

miami resident here, this system is bring lots of rains but so far no winds, thank God

the only thing that worries me is that it could change trajectory more towards the south and east of where is supposed to land

yeah my major worry is to have a power outages. those are no fun to be under with since it still gets hot and muggy even in late september and parts of october still.

[ - ] GlowNiggerDick 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 17:24:37 ago (+1/-0)

They don't know what the fuck the weather is gonna look like in two hours on a normal day. The safest place to be is the middle of the cone 36 hours from land fall

[ - ] IfuckedYerMum 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 23:23:31 ago (+0/-0)

I've been saying all week nothing is going to happen. It won't be that bad. Everyone said "no, no, no! It's going to be bad! OMG!!!!!!!" Shit's gonna flood a bit, sure, but everything flood here even with 10 minutes of rain. Fucking retards are acting like the entire Tampa Bay is going to be wiped off the face of the Earth. We aren't that lucky.

I wouldn't put it past em but I left yesterday. Better safe staying with friends than taking a direct hit. I can replace the house. (My insurance is paid up.)

I moved down here in 1990 from up north. Most of my neighbors now are from NY and NJ.

If you are prepared, there's no reason to go. If you are a consoomer dependent on electricity and have no food, you should go.

[ - ] FloridaMan 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 29, 2022 12:27:54 ago (+0/-0)

We're in a low lying area. I didn't want to get stranded waiting for the power to come back on and the water to recede. I'm glad I left.

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 29, 2022 18:33:31 ago (+0/-0)

I would include in prepared having a generator and several days worth of backup fuel. Not something most people do, or even within the means of, most people. I know some people that have a natural gas powered whole-home generator and a gas storage tank. You gotta have a lot of room... and money.

[ - ] FloridaMan 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 4, 2022 13:19:17 ago (+0/-0)

A generator is a good idea if you have a place to store it and the gas that goes with it. The whole-house generators are expensive as hell and require either natural gas or propane.

[ - ] Psychicrussiaspy 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 17:02:53 ago (+1/-0)

I left yesterday too. Lot of volume on 75 north. Not because of the storm though

[ - ] Laputois 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 14:36:49 ago (+0/-0)

Another Florida Insurer went under yesterday. You think they would pay out at this point with dejews in the Governor's mansion?

[ - ] FloridaMan 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 15:26:23 ago (+1/-0)

That's like three in the pst month if I'm keeping track.

[ - ] Laputois 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 18:29:31 ago (+0/-0)

Desantis backed the bill preventing contractors from recouping legal fees when they filed against the insurance companies after they denied a valid claim. (Which is their default position)

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 22:38:37 ago (+0/-0)

I thought the Florida government had taken over insurance because nobody wanted to write policies out there.

[ - ] totes_magotes -1 points 2.6 yearsSep 27, 2022 22:47:51 ago (+0/-1)

Where the fuck do you idiots come from? Once storms hit the gulf cost and nearby area, they almost always swing sharply clockwise, towards the north-east.
