A cigar will last for hours. I never smoked in my life until the lockdowns. I got bored and took up cigars. I had plans to use the lockdown time to improve myself; eat better, workout more, maybe read a few of the classics. Instead, I added one more disgusting habit to the pile.

Drug store cigars are terrible. Best to buy them by online.

Thanks. I’ve not heard of this vendor. I usually go to ‘Cigars International’

Most of the online cigar vendors are owned by the same company, Thompson Cigar. If you look at the web sites, they're all very much the same with little to distinguish them in design. These various vendors are differentiated by different products, however, with some at the lower end in both products and price, and some at much higher level. These include JR's Cigars, Cigars International, Cigars Direct, Pipes and Cigars, and cigars.com.

As a heavy smoker, I always buy from Thompson Cigar because the have decent prices for their bundles of 40 or more. They also use IDMe, a verification system that qualifies people for discounts for military service or being EMTs/police/firefighters etc. and the like.

I've previously purchased from several of these other vendors and I wasn't able to find the same kind of consistent quality and low price. Keep in mind, however, that Thompson Cigar's customer service is terrible, almost non-existent. Also, you can't get through using a VPN, so you have to shut it off before you can connect.

I did the same thing. But at the same time did all the things you listed.

Use your cigar time to meditate and or do the other things you mentioned. Read a good book. Go for a walk. Find a nice nature site and sit back and take it in. Cigars really helped me enjoy nature I travel and stop and gold scenic rest stops or sites and I used to get bored and leave after 5 or 10 minutes like ok I came I saw now I'm out. Now I light up a cigar chill for an hour. Saw a hawk I wouldn't have seen once and the sun set. Your not inhaling I've had multi people women included say damn that smells good

It's not disgusting

One smokes a pipe for the same reason. It's relaxing, gives one a chance to enjoy what's in the environment, whether it's the great outdoors or a good book or watching a good movie. Pipe tobacco is much more aromatic that cigars, but pipes can be a bother because you always have to fuss with it and always requires one hand unless you hold the bit with your teeth. I stopped when it hurt my teeth to hold it.

I have a friend like you. He smokes cigars like he’s in a race. It’s supposed to be relaxing. When I retire to my smoking station I always have my iPad with me, reading the news or Voat, maybe watching a movie. If I were just sitting there, me and my cigar, I would probably smoke it twice as fast.

My grandfather got me into cigars. He was a widower for 18 years after my grandmother passed. It was a weekly thing in the later years that I would go do his grocery shopping, then clean his house, then we'd sit in his garage and smoke a cigar and watch Bonanza while we caught up on life. I was with him when he had the stroke that killed him.

I don't still watch Bonanza, but I will enjoy a cigar from time to time. I always think about him when I do. It's almost like visiting my ancestors.

The cigar is healthier for you than reading the news

That's what they're doing.

I know some long-time smokers that can finish a smoke in less than a minute.

TL;DR Test your cigarette brand for sleep safety sections.

It's quite accurate, but some cigarettes have sections that are designed to extinguish if no vacuum is applied to it. If you are curious, let one of your favorite brand sit after you light it and see what happens. Better to be sure how your brand reacts in an unwatched scenario.

So annoying.

I don't like when mine have all those chemicals. I haven't smoked in many years.

Certain native brands are as pure as you'll find. DisCounts come to mind.

They're called fire safe cigarettes. All brands have the fsc marking because niggers and old people were burning down houses

I've been smoking a pipe and now that I have it broken in properly, I really enjoy it. Cherry Cavendish is delightful

You're supposed to only take like 5 drags from a smoke too. I light up and take 2 or 3 and turn it off. I can do that 3 tines for one stogie
