This meme reminded me of a story. When I got out of the service my first job was building docks and seawalls in Florida. We got the contract to build dunewalks for St. Pete Beach. They were pedestrian bridges over sand dunes and seagrass that preserved the beach. At one spot we had to build one that could support the weight of an ambulance. The pressure treated lumber was approximately 4"x16" and 20 ft long. Each one weighed over 200 lbs. We had been humping this lumber in the hot sun for 6 hours when the owner of the company showed up and started clapping his hands barking orders for us to "step it up". I stopped what I was doing and said "hey pal weve been doing this all day". He was not amused. Later the foreman told me I shouldnt have said that. I told him "the guy shouldnt show up at the end of the day full of piss and vinegar acting like weve been sitting on our asses all day!".
