My counselor was an ass. I wanted to take college prep and some shop . He said I couldn't do it,I did . No study halls or library time . Every period was used for educating my pea brain . And I passed all of it and never did go to college lol.

But this makes a good case, I think, to argue for actual cultural decline in the 20th century. If not for things like this, someone might argue that it was just a more naive time. However, songs like this prove the contrary. It's not that people didn't realize lewd music like this was possible to record and distribute, it's that standards existed for ensuring it wasn't done widely or highly popularly, whether this had to do with prevailing tastes or with a more Christian lobby in politics. I don't really know the answer to that, but it's clear that blacks have been 'muh dick-ing' for a very long time.
