I have a dog. She’s a German Shepard. She’s more black than brown. I absolutely adore her. She sees and hears everything. I try to hug and kiss her like this. She is beautiful and sweet. But she will not tolerate my hugs and kisses. She is always on alert. Nothing escapes her notice. A snap or a twig breaking she is on it. Oh well, she loves me that’s all that matters.

To clarify, if lightning strikes, she is already there.

If you’re still interested I named her Daisy. She is a proud German Shepard. Mostly black like an East German attack dog. Her features are very soft in my eyes. I just love her. Her favorite toy is any ball thrown hard. She is fast as lightning.

My dog tolerates the huggy kissy stuff. Just. But every morning he wakes me up with a snuggly nuzzle, rubbing his face on me and smushing me. Best way to wake up.

I wake up in direct contrast of what you wake up too. I roll over and express god damnit Daisy what did you do? I love her to death but she is a trouble maker. Especially when she gets bored. A bored German Shepard is the most dangerous thing on this planet. She speaks perfect English because she knows exactly what I’m talking about when I explode. I like curvy girls but not fat girls. Mine is a hound and a thief. He’s very agile and loves pulling things off counters and tables, going thru bags, even opening drawers. He’s a dirty little sneak. He hides stuff and breaks things. So he’s not perfect .
She speaks perfect English because she knows exactly what I’m talking about when I explode.
They are very good at reading us.

The saliva. Them eating something disgusting and then wanting to lick you. Dogs that bark endlessly; bonus: a litter's worth that barks endlessly in a sounds-like-a tile-floor room; bonus 2: a dog that howls whenever the owner isn't home and their tone is identical to an ambulance siren. Dogs that bite and chase small children. What percentage of dogs up for adoption are part pit bull?

I'm not the cuddly sort with animals, and I don't need a pet. A dog that wants a job and training is the kind that suits me.

I admit I don't follow you. The pups I mentioned went on loudly for month after month. Breeders? Hispanic neighborhood. Anyway, I don't plan on choosing a noisy breed. My father would not let our dogs bother the neighbors.

My dog doesn’t bark. She sits in the backyard and listens intently to all the noises around her. Her gigantic German Shepard ears moving every which way. But she doesn’t bark. I’m impressed.

I take that back, she did bark at the solar power guy knocking at my front door. Trying to sell me green energy. Daisy stood quietly while I listened to his lies, then she suddenly started barking. I told the guy I need to go. I closed my door and kissed my dog on her forehead. Good doggy.
