Most 'people' featured on the site are well aware of it, and often act even more retarded as a result. (as in current events) You wouldn't want to spend much time there, but it's an info treasure house on the scum of the earth on the internet.

My favorite is when you sign up for a site and then they email you your password. You’re not supposed to be sending passwords in an email, idiot. Especially when it’s long past the point where the password should only exist as a salted hash within the computers storage.

A common test I do is to test the “forgot my password” functionality. If you enter your email and they send you an email with your plain text password, you know you’re in for some kind of trouble.

I sign up for many sites around the internet as part of my job (I’m talking hundreds of sites) and the amount of websites that pull shit like distributing and storing unhashed passwords is astounding. I always have a little chuckle about it when I see it because I know we’re doomed. We keep using computers for more and more critical infrastructure, but the software developer quality is definitely going down.

Couple that with a total philosophical collapse in the software planning environment, things aren’t looking good. Fact is, programming is like an art. And it gets more difficult the more people you have involved because they bring styles and techniques that are different from yours. But you all have to work together to make a unified singular product.

All you have to do is give a different password for every site, which you're supposed to do anyways.

I don't like complicated sign in that requires me to grab my phone. If they can accept something automated stored on my computer then whatever. That's effectively what my passwords are anyways due to password manager.

What you do is hire a white hat hacker (no such thing) and then convince them that the job is legitimate work. White hat vs black hat is a matter of self delusion. This is how the government gets their hackers who mostly behave for them. There's nothing white about working for the government though.

Once the left labels someone the bad guy they get fixated. They clinch down like a dog that won't let go of a tennis ball. The more you try to get them to let go and be rational the more they fixate. How do you think Trump became mega-hitler when he's a pretty boring run of the mill jew puppet?

Don't ask the left to be fair with their fixations because it isn't going to happen.
