That was pretty funny when it happened (couple of years ago now). Our media is extremely left and was very much supportive of the BLM nonsense that had been going on in the US and UK at the time. Then that negro got what was coming him in Meath and it was reported on for about a day and then not discussed again in any mainstream outlets. American police had been presented as evil incarnate for a few months in our papers but not a word of criticism of the Gardaí when the same thing happened here. Very easy for hypocrites and moral high horse types to criticise from afar, but things can change pretty rapidly when the problems from afar creep ever closer.
