There was a great lecture by a guy who studied it was at a Jewish study center and he discussed why Jews had helped push the civil Rights movement with black people in the south. And he said it was because it was for Jews benefit.
And he made a startling statement. He said the biggest benefactor of the job allocations that arose as a result of the civil Rights movement giving preferential treatment to the underprivileged ETC and minority groups were Jewish women.
That's worth staying again.
The biggest beneficiaries of the civil Rights movement in regard to job allocation were Jews who were women.
Because women were included as part of the underprivileged group that it was made legal to give beneficial preferential hiring to and Jewish women took those slots.
Now that's rather an astounding statistic when most people believe the civil Rights movement gave black people the biggest benefit in terms of hiring. But it didn't give black people the biggest benefit in terms of hiring.
It gave Jews the biggest benefit in terms of hiring. Jewish women.
