I wonder what it's value after repair is. I wonder what the repair costs are. Something tells me it's very easy to total these things. Given that spare parts don't really exist for these thing the thing is probably worth more in spare parts to the other two owners at this point. Good news for the others.
Basically if there is only three of your car built, don't be the sucker who wrecks first and becomes a parts car.
Depends, if the suspension is mounted to the carbon tub, then it's a write-off, no way to fix it. If the suspension is mounted to a subframe, then you can replace the subframes, and axleshaft, it looks like the upright is in one piece. The skin is just carbon panels, if it's the latter I'm guessing around $250k in capable hands will get her looking good again.
I'd be shitting myself! No idea how someone like Doug DeMuro drives around in CA traffic test-driving limited run production supercars. (Although he also admitted he nearly shits himself when doing so.)
I owned a Camaro SS for a few years. It had to be at least 25C weather, below that i would constantly fight with traction. I can't imagine having a car with more power would still be fun to drive.
Nice. I got to ride in my dad's buddy's Diablo in the 90's, but the priciest car I've driven was a '97 Bentley Turbo R. Nice boat of a ride, but no supercar.
Don't have much experience with land yachts other than the old school Crown Vic, which was novel in its own way for me.
I remember getting it up to over 90 without realizing I was going that fast. Was more used to cars with smaller, high-winding engines where I felt connected to the road.
Aw, I never got to drive a Vic with the interceptor package, but I borrowed my dad's old Grand Marquis for years. It was still pretty quick for how large it was. Honestly, the Bentley had similar handling characteristics, if not feeling even heavier. You'll be hard pressed to find a smoother ride, though. Maybe a Rolls Royce, which incidentally I have access to one but don't want to drive. Or more accurately: Don't want to work on. Have you ever seen one under the hood, much less a service manual? The deal is I can drive it any time if I help. No fucking thank you.
Feel that way about paying attention to speed on street bikes. I have owned ZX-6Rs exclusively and never felt the need to upgrade to liter bikes; middle weight supersports are plenty enough to get you in trouble. It's easy to gun it a little and see triple digits. Lately I have felt a hankering to seek out an '02-'03 ZX-9R just for how comfortable they are (same frame and seats as that year's six, which were borderline sport-tour in ergos).
Edit: Oh fuck, in terms of vehicle cost...No idea how I forgot the decked out '22 Peterbilt 579 that I'm sitting in right now. Ordered it earlier this year. Could've bought a nice house for what this damn thing set me back.

Was taking legit 20mph turns at around 50 and the owner was urging me to drive faster.
Thing was like a roller coaster on wheels.
