Don't use Odyssey. Use it's backend LBRY directly to avoid censorship.

Library (LBRY) is the SOFTWARE back end to all websites like odyssey. Library is a pure peer-to-peer serving platform software package much like bittorrent. Absolutely nothing on it is actually censored. However it allows someone who builds a website on top of it which the software makes easy to do the ability to do some censorship so your website won't get taken down. Thus Odyssey uses library to completely build their website and chooses to censor certain things which I think are identified by people tagging those items themselves. Thus Odyssey is a front end to library and thus Odyssey the website will censor some things. There are many websites that use the library software package. However since all websites need an IP address to operate they are subject to censorship themselves by the IP address providers and website hosters if they don't do some censorship to conform to local law customs and censorship authorities. but you can download library and run it directly on your own computer. In that case you're searching the whole system yourself from your computer and you're not going through any website. When you do that you're going to be exposed to everything that everybody has ever uploaded to library without any censorship. So stop using library through websites like Odyssey and instead use library directly on your own computer.

I don't know who started library but the code is open source. So you know programmers can tell whether or not it sensors. And as I mentioned if you want to use it as a back end for your own website you can certainly turn censorship on which you have to be able to do if you're going to have a website or your website will get shut down. But the back end software itself is open source and no matter who started it it should be clearer that it's not censoring.

As someone who uploades to an extremely large book/audiobook torrent group. I'm very excited to give this a crack.

Awesome if it works like you say. Elated to try it!!

so I can find only the newest conspiracy videos over 2 hours long?!?!?

fuck me, censorship is one thing, but I'm tickled just to have a tad power over search

shakes fist @ bitchute search

Your argument is sound on all merits and you took the time to explain the why.

Does said lbry have any centralized lists or server hubs? instead of a website, what if I wanted to just build a api tickler or downloader..?

allow creators to upload their work to the LBRY network of hosts

that.. the "network of hosts"... where does that.. "begin"?

can I mine LBC coins?
