Thunderbirds are Go!

They started running that old japanese marionette show on MeTV recently. I haven't seen that shit in ages.
The level of detail they put into the little set pieces and vehicles is honestly impressive. They spent time making things look dirty when appropriate. This must have taken an amazing amount of work.

Ah the good old days of winmx and bearshare . I have all of the Gerry Anderson stuff, Supercar Stingray.Joe 90, Captain Scarlet old and new . Some girl Christine had them all in her winmx share.Supercar was my favorite when I was a kid . Too much to list Four Feather Falls. Fireball XL5 .Look it up fun old shit. Some real people shows as well.

Except I didn't set out to watch it. I don't usually sit down and watch TV or movies anymore. It's OTA tv bg noise tuned to 40~70 year old stuff shuffled at random because I live alone. I don't care anywhere near enough to go pirate anything.

Guilty, I have a Thunderbird 2 Model, it was my favorite. Even drops the cargo and Thunderbird 4 comes out.

I couldn’t watch this show when I was a kid. It always gave me nightmares that I was being chased by these weird puppets. Throwing darts at my 12 inch GI Joes had the same effect, but it was so fun, I couldn’t stop.

Thunderbirds was on every Saturday morning when I was a kid. Good times. Now kids get to watch trans-gendered vampires and black mermaids and not fight to save people, but to jail the offender for using the wrong pronouns.

They did an amazing job. There was just an attention to detail that was top notch.

I hadn't seen it in ages and since the tv is just for bg noise I didn't see any credits. I always thought it was japanese for some reason.
