It's never possible to eliminate stress, but I've found the best cure is Apathy, or a variant of it.

Now apathy can be dangerous if you direct it at the wrong thing, but very useful if you direct it towards the right thing.

Simply put, accept that negative things will happen and don't stress about avoiding them at all costs. Put a reasonable amount of effort to avoid it, but don't exhaust yourself.

I don't expect this comment to cure all your problems, but hopefully it'll help.
