LA has a humidity tolerance almost as sad as its cold tolerance. Try a summer in the deep south...if its love bug season, make sure to wash your car daily.

I just kind of give up on the car for periods of time and let it be covered with dirt and junebugs until I collect some of the bug corpses to give to the chickens.
