There’s a bit more to this than the title suggests. First off, the Burke family are a shower of fruitcakes. And while it’s true that Enoch did refuse to address the student by their neo-pronouns that is not why he was suspended from his teaching role. He was suspended for interrupting public assemblies to air his grievances and then allegedly hurling abuse at the school principal publicly too. While suspended (on full pay it should be noted), he continued to attend the school daily, although he did not take his classes. The school then applied to the courts to obtain an injunction against his continued presence on school property during his suspension which the courts granted. He defied this injunction and continued to attend and thus an arrest warrant for contempt was issued. He was given an opportunity to purge his contempt when presented before the court (i.e. agree to stay at home on full pay for a while) which he refused, thus he was gaoled on the contempt charge. I’d say he’s having a great time in the joy as we speak!

The only upside is this dude just redpilled the majority of kids in the school and and their parents. They sent him to jail for a verbal disagreement with their ideology. Overreaching shit like this adds up in people's minds.
