Richard II writes the letter d the proper way. But both Lizzy and Eddy stuffed up the letter a.

Neat. You can see how the signature will resemble the parent’s for a generation or two and then radically change.

Just before Elizabeth II, George, Edward, and George added RI, meaning Rex Imperium, meaning Imperial King or King of the Empire.

Does the queen like have ID? What would be her last name?

No ID. No need. And no last name because royalty doesn't have last names, they have a family name, which in her case is Windsor. So she would be Elizabeth II of the House of Windsor. A bit too long to put on a driver's license.
