In my area the boats are just starting to drop in value. They were overvalued for a long time because nobody could take a real vacation because of coronavirus, but they could buy a boat and mess around on their local waters instead.
I think (((they))) have too much invested. I think they will use trump to drag out a couple more years and things will bounce back with him aka gas will be cheap again. I am expanding metal holdings and seeing if I can buy real estate in neighboring states because stuff in my own state is already pricey. Ideally land that can grow food and has its own water. A company called Eaglemoss just went bankrupt. They sell these 1/8 scale metal cars that you put together with screws. You buy them as a subscription for 70 bucks a month and in about 2 years, you’ll have all your parts. Eaglemoss tanked after they had delivered a third of my parts for a Mustang Eleanor. 700 bucks down the drain there.
I contacted a similar company called Deagostini to make sure I was going to get all my Ford GT40 parts. The rep said 90% of the buyers for these cars are Americans, and it had been very rare for people to cancel subscription before their car was complete. These commitments have fallen off a cliff. Deagostini has had to reduce their line from a few dozen models to just one.
Americans are cancelling their subscriptions before they finish their models and it killed Eaglemoss. I think Deagostini will go the same way.

Typically, they would retire a model after 5 years. You had a three year window to subscribe. Then a couple of years where you could get all the parts in one shot. Then it was gone. Since these were European companies, they would let the Europeans subscribe for a few years before the subscriptions were available to Americans. I would stalk European eBay and buy all the parts from an individual whenever I could. Saw some intense bidding wars over these complete kits that weren’t released yet in the US. I won a few auctions over the years and had to figure out French and German assembly instructions.
The absolutely ridiculous prices for stuff coming down and businesses unable to keep asinine staffing levels due to the PPP running out isn't exactly a sign of imminent collapse. These things take years to happen. My prediction is the state of this economy will probably hold on until 2030 at which point America will be majority nonwhite and jews will pull the plug.
