The big issue is that the speed of light to the moon is 1.3 seconds and we have people saying rodger immediately after someone says something. How could NASA of all orgs miss that one. IDK, maybe that's communication between the orbiter and the lander. Pretty impressive audio and transmission equipment to have audio from a lander beamed to a orbiter, and relayed a very long distance directionally, through all the atmosphere with little distortion with at best an FM carrier signal.
