I don't think the rabies shots is as bad as it used to be. I remember by parents warning me about rabies saying that if you get bitten it is like six big shots in the abdomen. The newer shots aren't as bad I think, but I'm no expert.

I do remember reading some woman surviving rabies, only known case.

Usually by the time symptoms start it is too late. The hydrophobia symptom is crazy.

My daughter had to get the rabies shots. And ya it’s every bit as horrible as it was ever described.

The injections suck massively. They do 13 deep injections at each infection site. It's a big needle and it goes deep. And they have to move it around under the skin. Never seen anything like it. She cried and cried. She's better now, but wow it really sucked.

Fuck that mexi-shit with his pit-shit dog who ran up out of nowhere and bit my daughter. Then after the dog finally releases, the mexi-shit whistles and runs off fast with the dog. I wasn't there - daughter was with babysitter. Never caught the mexi-shit.

But I've not gotten bit by any wild possibly rabid creatures since the 70s, so the treatment may have improved.
