I'm really tired of Windows, because every OS update screws my computer, because of bugs. Is Mac OS really better, or it has the same problems with OS updates?
you can stay with the MS borg, or you can join the MAC borg, but you will probably have the same issues.
if all you do is surf the web and minor image/document editing, then linux might be ok. you can test out linux by putting it on a bootable usb drive, then you don't have to re-image your hdd. if that is too techy for you, then stick with windows or mac.
another option, and one i use for the kids, is to get a chromebook. this is the google borg, but in my experience is not as in-your-face as MS or Mac. people here will criticize this option, but you are being tracked and logged by everyone no matter what you use.

Linux and Mac run on the same base language...if you're jumping Windows and are an advanced user, may as well learn Linux.
If you're looking for a computer at a store, you'll get more powerful hardware usually at a lower price with Windows...unless Mac stopped designing their OS for specific RAM and CPUs.
They're both gay. Even linux has AIDS now, so pick whichever one you hate the least.
I'm on a mac right now - because the IT department gave it to me, so the price was right. The rest of the time, I'm on my ancient shitty little laptop which presently runs a somewhat gay linux distro. Both of these are handy for writing shell scripts and stuff on, and doing admin crap.
I kind of like linux better than mac os still, but I think it's kind of a matter pf preference and familiarity at this point. I might go back to some type of BSD, whichever one is the least woke and gay at this point; FreeBSD used to be my favorite [particularly FreeBSD 4.6 - I stuck with that one for over a decade, and had a server running it without any reboots for nearly that long].

With Windows, XP and prior are the best.
You are better off with a linux disto like Mint, Zorin(as someone else said), or PureOS to name a few.

this is what you're looking for. get one of their stripped versions of windows and never update it. this is how the professionals do it
