I Think Female Comedians Finally Got the Memo

This is the 4th or 5th female standup clip I have seen this week where I was impressed by the thoughtfulness of the routine and amazed that the routine had nothing to do with feminism or their cunt. This isn’t hilarious, but she is amusing and shows a capacity for wider appeal by not having a typical, Tiffany Haddish hoodrat routine. There are good female comedians, but the shitty ones still outnumber the good ones 50-1.

Too bad her history is totally wrong. I get it's just a joke, but that is not how New York was started. The first settlers were actually farmers who landed in Massachusetts, and if they didn't know anything, then how did they build a better society in 5 years than the natives did over thousands of years?
Again, I get it's just a joke, but people actually believe that version of events and it is totally wrong.

I didn't listen because I'm sure everything she says about New Amsterdam is fiction, but if you are interested there's an excellent book that tells the actual story. It's called "The Island At The Center Of The World" (free here: https://b-ok.cc/book/1201262/090e75). They found a trove of untranslated Dutch documents about it and this book rewrites the entire bs narrative most people learned from lousy college profs. Notably, it's entirely consistent with the first-hand records of the REST of the USA on the topic. Specifically, the settlers and american indians got along reasonably well without many issues and on the occasion the Europeans sent over a dickhead who caused trouble, the settlers complained about it. They weren't libshits, they just understood how important it was to keep good relations with their neighbors.

Yeah, and the Gold Rush built SanFran and Sac, not LA. Those are 400+ miles away from LA. No one came to LA to find gold nuggets - if they came to California to find gold nuggets, they landed in San Francisco Bay

Meh.. I see the potential in the bit. Not the best though, but certainly not the worst. Tbh if she would maybe added a punchline somewhere or had ended it with a line about her stinky nasty crabby vag, or maybe how she's a slut, I may have laughed. As it stands now, I have to continue to stick to my position that women are rarely able to be intentionally funny. I mean women are often hilarious, just not usually intentionally. I have met and seen dome funny girls in my life though. So I know they exist. My girl insists that she is funny all of the damn time. I'm constantly having to remind her that she's not slutty enough and her vag isn't anywhere near as big and as stinky as it would have to be for her to be able to be funny...... I don't make the rules....
