its the only one that we have here. actually we also have gas but that's for older houses. most newer houses are electric only

I heard they were planning on building a few - but in LA, that just means they're spending millions to put into their own pockets to "study" the "plan", before awarding a contract to their close personal friends who will in turn drag their feet and go overbudget to the tune of billions, eventually accomplishing nothing aside from extracting shekels from taxpayers scot-free. At least that's the typical approach.

Some of us have 'desalination plants' of our own aboard our boats. Not me because I'm too busy being a useless drunken loser, but I should totally do that someday.
