Theyre all equally useful as toilet paper

KJV with the Scofield study system. It has some commentary and cross references in the margin and footer. Really helps explain some nuances that otherwise are easily overlooked.

Scofield version blatantly advocates Zionism. Avoid that version with its commentary. It's jew propaganda.

King James from what I’ve heard

I really like KJV and ESV. Not a fan of NIV. It all depends on what you want though. Personally, lately, I've been focusing on Latin Vulgate Gospels.

KJV.

Others have changes that are questionable and likely jewy.

I currently read the Nearly Inspired Version, and used to have (or misplaced) an English Substandard Version... whatever you read, reference the YLT. I don't often see AMP (Amplified) suggested, but that might be worth checking once in a while. Bible Hub will display a variety of translations for each verse. You'll sometimes find differences among translations due to varying interpretations of words and understanding of syntax.

Dude, you're going to get a dozen recommendations from multiple perspectives of Christian Voat users. You should just read about them yourself. I personally recommend reading JUST the Greek scriptures and ignoring the jewish Hebrew scriptures.

Skeptic's Annotated Bible is my favorite.

Try and avoid anything with New in the titles but my RSV version seems pretty clean and clear if you want something that's more readable and not pozzed.

Takes the Spirit to open your eyes.
Flesh is the problem
It takes a spirit to drive it

The red letter text is a common Bible feature available in almost every translation and it's great advice.

There is some version that has everything Jesus said himself in a red font.

Picked up a KJV in large red font with a couple of those tassels for place-holders. It was something like $13.99 at walmart. Big floppy thing with pseudo-leather cover, goldish paper edging, and indents for each book.

I figured that, like the communist manifesto and other books that have had a large effect on the world, I should at least own a copy.
