I scanned it briefly, but didn't find a definition of "cola". what is a cola-based soft drink vs. a non-cola-based soft drink?

Coca leaves. Coca cola has a special license to import coca leaves, so long as they promise not to make cocaine.

No, cola comes from kola nuts. Coca-Cola is the only to have used coca leaves.

so pepsi isn't a cola-based soft drink?

How come it's not listed as an ingredient ?? ....

I thought a cola was cilantro, lime, carbonated water and caramelized honey. It's not?

They didn't say whether sugar or not although mentioned sugar.

So we don't know if 9t was sugar, cola flavor, CO2, caffeine or what. Study sucks.

Among other things, soda will rot your teeth faster than anything else.

Yep, happened to me. Can place the blame almost entirely on soda for that.

Ok, so is it the high sugar? the phosphoric acid? Overconsumption? Or something else? I suspect it's the sugar, and are there not other studies saying too much sugar makes you retarded?

I think they cause osteoporosis too, but I love my diet Dr. Pepper. S’pose I’ll have to give that up too. :(

You can't drink Cheerwine or something like that?

[ - ] IfuckedYerMum 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 17, 2022 18:20:32 ago (+0/-0)

Dr. Pepper isn't a cola, as it does not contain kola nuts.

Wonder if this was done by anti-sugar activists? Oy vey goyim, no more sweet treats for you unless you pay our sugar tax.

Anything with the Caramel coloring additive is iirc, an arsenic derivative and stains the kidneys - permanently.
