Apparently there has been a cricket shortage going on for a while.

How are we meant to feed the people of the world with bugs when we can't even feed all the pet lizards?

It really is silly. If these people are so obsessed with efficiency and having minimal impact per human life then a vegan diet is both more efficient and preferable to eating bugs.

Soylent bugs are people. The only advantage bugs have over meat or veganism is the ability to launder even more detestable protein sources back into the population.

Yes it is for lizards and shit but they are uncommon pets so the demand can't be that high.

You heard of 'You vill eat ze bugs and you vill be happy'?

If they want all people to eat bugs instead of meat, then their plan seems a little flawed if the bug supply is already struggling with a low demand.
