About 20 years ago, I was pushed from the left to the center because of the actions and mentality of those on the left. I was never an ideologue but I thought even though some of my beliefs were left-leaning, I got a lot of resistance from hard leftists for my non-doctrinaire beliefs. I decided they were far more intolerant than the right and concluded the left is a deranged thought-police cult. It's only become worse now.

I'm still lurking! I'm teaching kids gardening now pretty much full time. So I haven't done as much politics, news or muckraking. I'm also playing music almost every night at local bars. Plus I kind of had a girlfriend for a minute. 🤣🤣🤣
