Women had kids for thousands and thousands and tens of thousands of years without doctors and hospitals. We have medicalized a natural procedure.

There are a couple of key danger points for the woman and one of the primary ones is bleeding after birth. If you have a midwife or somebody else also be aware of where you can go if you need to take your wife because there's a bleeding problem. As long as you're within a close distance of a place people seem to think you'll be fine.

The other thing that happens is people who start with a midwife often experience a lot of pain and decide they need to go to the hospital for the pain.

Other than that they're a whole lot of procedures that have become basically a fun luxury activity that have been associated with having a baby now that are completely unnecessary. Going and having sonograms constant checkups all these other things. Women used to wait until the baby was born. Sometimes the baby didn't live. Most the time they did. You don't need to know before it's born if it's a perfect baby.

I think and I'm not a doctor but I think most of the other typical things that might go wrong a woman would be made aware of because of some pain and then she could go to the doctor.

By the way there's actual evidence that sonograms are an extremely intense sound remember that are used to actually break up kidney stones and those sonogram machines that are imaging your baby are pushing huge sound waves into that baby's head and ears and all parts of their body. And there's a lot of evidence that that's not really good and if the person Manning the sonogram machine makes a mistake they can deafen the child do all kinds of things.


Babies should not cost a fortune to have. Babies always have been free. Hospitals don't make babies. People have actually forgotten that.

If she gets pregnant the baby will come matter what.

Tried to go that way with our first kid. Dumbass untrained fucktard midwives couldn’t tell from multiple sonograms that the baby was breech. Wound up with an emergency C section after baby went half way down the canal in a franks breech position. It’s a damn miracle baby came out unharmed and mother intact. Second baby we did hospital. Baby was positioned right but the pertussin wasn’t getting mama dialated enough and he started dipping. Not an emergency c section but a necessary one.

My suggestion. Go to the fucking hospital. Midwives are horrendously undertrained. Do not have the proper supplies for emergencies and are only really successful if they wouldn’t need to be there in the first place.

Hey. This is the life of your wife and kid. Suck it up. Wear the mask if they make you. It’s not worth the risk of injury going home birth or birthing center.

Plus the nurses at the hospital we’re the kindest and most caring people I’ve ever met. My suggestion is to find a catholic hospital bough.

Some friends are having their 6th child at home. The husband does the delivery and he's not doctor material. Meanwhile a hippie classmate lost her only child because he had the umbilical cord around his neck and the midwife couldn't help. I'd vote hospital. Consult with doctors to find one that isn't vax crazy.
