Here's to drinking a 29 year old can of bilge. Hope your weekend is triumphant! I'm thinking about getting a mountain bike but it seems like they're either Wally World cheap or a few grand at a bike store. Any suggestions? Thanks!

$150? Ouch! I left my jew landlords to move into my brother's dungeon basement for $300 a month (he only requested $50 a week). Because of Biden economics, I raised my own rate to $340 a month a number of months ago, haha!

(I'd rather just give my money to a family member as opposed to some jews.)

Open up an old Facebook account if you have one, people usually don't deal with new accounts and go to marketplace.

Plenty of good stolen bikes on there.

Or pawn stores at least over here sell bikes.

This is a good idea. I got my first "real" mtb from them and had no complaints for the money. The Motobecanes are decent.

Agreed, I've ordered a few for various people and had zero issues. It also forces you to learn how to do basic stuff like true a tire, adjust gearsets, etc.

Also you could buy used. That way you'll get better components than for the same money new. Hard tails are again cheaper for good components than a full squish. If you really want to mountain bike just keep in mind you get what you pay for and cheaping out can be dangerous.
