If you understand evolution than you understand that different genetic subpopulations are in competition with each other for the same resources. To force one group of people to be rulled over by another is against the interest of the ruled people. Every genetic population has a right to be ruled by their own people. Meaning that the nation is not ruled by lawmakers, or politicians, but by the law itself, those who are the leaders of the nation are merely overseers who enforce the laws as they are written, without hope of there being anything else than what was established at their nation's beginning.
One of the best ways to sabotage a democratic system is to introduce the element of decency, the need not to offend, into the culture. When people cannot discuss offending subjects like political issues, they cannot make informed decisions regarding the choices they make at the ballot, they become susceptible to the influence of their immediate environment, which always favors the status quo, which itself always favors the aspiring tyrants who conspire to turn their nation into a tyranny benefitting themselves and their posterity at the expense of the people.
