What's it like to be smart, berries version

submitted by albatrosv15 to TellUpgoat 2.9 yearsAug 4, 2022 16:04:51 ago (+30/-2)     (TellUpgoat)

Imagine a tribe of people harvesting berries to live. Before the berries are ripe, they're green. They turn red when they're safe to eat. Every single day, you see people eating green berries and suffering for it. You try to explain to someone you care about that they should stop eating green berries, and they just get confused. They don't understand what you're talking about. Green berries? Red berries? Changing color? None of that makes any sense to them. Berries are just berries.

As you try to teach them the difference so they stop hurting themselves, you realize something horrible: Everyone else is colorblind. Green and red are the same color to their eyes, and no matter how well you explain the difference, it's impossible for them to tell the healthy red berries from the dangerous green ones. You're the only person that can see the difference, and if you try to teach people about these colors they can't see, they'll just get mad at you for lying or laugh at you for being an idiot because the difference between red and green doesn't exist for them and no amount of explanation can teach them colors.

That's what being smart is like. It's like being surrounded by people that are missing something vital for dealing with the world.

My perspective is that people refuse to do any research, if they just read it they'd "get it", right?

Wrong.

It is like they are colorblind.

I found myself in agreement with what Borzoi had to say about der normie: https://t.me/raceborz/4946

There’s nothing you can do for the average person beyond obtain power and lead them. The “spontaneous revolution”, And Then The Miracle Happened magical thinking of right-wing politics that has caused right-wingers to construct their mental Big Normie they’re constantly trying to Redpill has been utterly destructive to right-wing activism and discourse. The average person is by design a follower and any strategy predicated on making that person into a self-starting intellectual revolutionary who knows how to navigate the System on their own is doomed to failure.

To be clear, the issue isn't that you're trying to tell and teach the people the truth (i.e. Redpill), it's the foundational expectation. Convince people of what you tell them and their next question is who do they follow and what do they do next, and if you don't have a simple, ready-to-go answer to that you're going to quickly lose them. It's why the Republican Party is the evergreen problem because they have the clout of an institution ostensibly capable of seizing power and doing something, so energy, resources, and manpower keeps being shoveled into its time-and-money pit by naive or foolish people who either don't know better or choose not to.

You have to speak the truth and you have to be honest with yourself and others, because otherwise you end up fashioning yourself as some pseudo-Machiavellian who does some kind of villain monologue as he talks about tricking the herd into his politics, when all you really are is a used car salesman and people can smell your bullshit, as dumb as you think they are. This is what The Big Normie is, not an actual picture of the average person but a mental construct of your preference of the perfect normie whom you just need to find the correct formula for in order to win them over to your side, your way of thinking, and perfectly capable of navigating the pitfalls of The System without needing to be led.

The average normal White person has no institutions or community on their side, they often don't even have their own family as so many of their relatives will side with the television over their own flesh and blood. They don't have the language to defend themselves and they don't have the tools. All they know how to do is follow the example of others as that's how societies are structured and the only examples to follow they're allowed to see are utterly retarded.

The problem is the lie of the American revolution... like the fall of the Roman empire it never fell it was rebranded as the catholic church. The doors of the Vatican are the old Roman senate doors... so there was no American revolution the Dutch east India company was rebranded as the United States of america. The district of Columbia the Vatican and the city of London are the epicenter of the old rulers power

It took me a long time to realize that a lot of people just can't ever get it.

They are limited. I don't know why I was surprised to learn that because clearly I recognize the extremes of a retarded young child that obviously has mental incapability but I never really took the heart that there's a scale of intelligence beyond just being really retarded and being normal. There's a huge in between and most people fall into that in between

I was a private investigator for many years. I have watched a wide variety of "humanity" when they didn't know they were being watched. I have encountered a vast array of people across ma y different t states and regions.

I have come to the conclusion that most of the bipedal hominids that we see from day to day in our lives are not actually sentient beings. They have no soul and are Mery pavlovian meat robots that merelyrespond to stimuli.

I'd be interested in hearing your observations from so much people watching.

You must have some good stories.

It has made me into a misanthrope. Such close proximity to so much stupidty, corruption, violence, and unpunished evil, has pretty much ruined me. There are individual humans that I love. I have a good family and a very small circle of friends. Other than that, I'm pretty much a sociopath who has no empathy or any emotion other than pure contempt for my (((fellow man))).

I was at a fireworks show on the 4th of July with some friends, and the fireworks were going off and the whole crowd was facing the direction of the fireworks show.

I turned around for some reason and there in full Glory were God, Jesus and the mother Mary. They saw me and said hello. I was astonished. I greeted them enthusiastically.

With such an astonishing event occurring right here behind this crowd of thousands of people, I just had to tell everyone that God and Jesus and Mary were here and they were right behind them. I told everyone in earshot. I told my friends. I told them to turn around and look and see for themselves.

The response I got was 'the fireworks show is going on.'

Nobody would even take a second to even turn around and look. Not a single person. Not my friends. Not strangers. Not the drunk people. Not the cute chick that caught my eye. Nobody at all would take their attention off of the fireworks show and simply look at who or what was behind them that this lunatic, me, was yelling about.

God, Jesus and Mary just watched. They told they they did not expect anyone to turn around.

I took my lawn chair and turned it to face God and Jesus and Mary and had a nice conversation with them about a whole lot of things. I am not going into that here, that would take so much typing.

Then one of my friends who I went to the fireworks show with says to me, 'you're missing the show!'

Again I told him that I was talking to God and Jesus and Mary and they were right there behind him, check it out, it's awesome.

... and he refused to even look

It's worse, you are stupid for imagining that the color of berries has any significance, simply because not everyone who eats unripe berries gets sick, and some of those who don't eat them will still get sick, if it's not 1:1 correlation, they figure that there's no possibility of causation.

Also, you are evil, peddling pseudoscience for personal gain while harming innocent people or intending to cause them harm, for this and other reasons they will come up with, you are a bad person who everyone should not just ignore, but hate.

Let's not forget that you are crazy and untrustworthy as well, there must be some reason why you think as you do, and so they will dig up your personal life for irrational reasons why you make the claims you have, or they will just psychologically profile you from afar and assume why you had said what you did.

They will call you names, labels that the people have been conditioned from childhood into associating with pure evil, insanity, or stupidity. They will dig through the people around you, even short-lived associates, to try and substantiate these claims.

When you show off through example that your way works, it won't get better, they will blame you for your relative successfulness, and make up a plausible explanation that it comes due to you doing some nefarious activities, or benefitting from those who have done them.

I think they are trained into this sort of black/white thinking. I've been thinking about it and this helps bring it into focus.

You know how their arguments are often "if one example proves otherwise, your hypothesis is null" or "if one example proves true, therefore my hypothesis is the only truth"? (Only, in "normie speak" of course)

If they can bin this whole "thinking" thing as soon as possible, they don't have to go through the effort. Then they can just call you names, feeling a cathartic exercise of their own idiot confusion, and go about their day having never needed to actually sit down and think over something.

Keep in mind that these midwits have been trained into these behaviors, specifically because it makes them easier to group up and control. They get continuous reinforcement training via media, and are therefore salved (sometimes within seconds!) whenever the "bad thinkin' man" attempts to get them to see reason. And they can therefore continue to ignore the pain of their continued cognitive dissonance while having a target to vent their ire upon.

Very interesting argument, comrade. Care to elaborate?

Statement, not argument. No.

I encounter this with people who are apathetic. They have no drive in life, not even at the micro level to improve their environment to be a better tool at achieving their goals each day. They have all these irrational things cluttering the place, irrational rituals, etc. that they refuse to question and eliminate. They're the kind of people who don't see a problem with government wielding immense power.

[ - ] Doglegwarrior 0 points 2.9 yearsAug 6, 2022 23:13:54 ago (+0/-0)

I heard trying to explain empathy to a narrcicist is like trying to explain color to a blind person they just don't have it.

Ohhh it's the jews every single time
