Anybody here tried the Desert Eagle gun?

Desert Eagle is a huge, heavy gun. I wonder who would own it. Personally, I prefer the smallest guns possible with minimal recoil.

I don't get why the Galil gets so much praise. It's nothing special. They even had to add a bottle opener to it because the jew conscripts were ruining their mags opening bottles with them.

It's actually an American design from the early 80's. A few years later some israeli company began manufacturing them.

Shit was retarded I almost always assume a short response is a bot and one up jokes are just faggots.. every now and then a good joke is ok but I fucking hated the joke after joke after joke to scroll down to some real content.

I have, it's garbage. Just impractical kike memery in gun form. If you find yourself ever needing a 50AE pistol you've fucked up well before that and you're gonna need a long gun.

I am ex military and also managed a gun range for a few years. I have shot a few Eagles. The quality is superb and they feel great in your hand, but yes, they are much more of a status symbol than an actual superior firearm to the models that are traditionally considered top choice guns.

Never even seen one. I've always felt they were sort of a gimmick and don't know anyone who owns one. I have a buddy who is proud of his .458 Socom pistol. THAT fucker is over the top. When ammo for it was.50/round, it was fine to shoot it, now that stuff goes $2.00-$3.00 a round and he leaves it home.

I rented one it was stupid and really heavy. It did tame the recoil of .44 mag really good.

If you want minimal recoil you want a heavier gun with a less powerful round. The weight of the gun has inertia that the bullet has to overcome to make it jump. Lighter gun = easier to move = more force that makes it to your hands.

So for example a compact is typically going to have more recoil than a full size when shooting the same type of round.

Find a steel frame. The gun is a little heavier but they have less recoil.

deagle is more of a collectors item, than the choice for someone who expects to use it.

i personally prefer my Glock 9mm with 15 round magazine.

cant penetrate body armopur, but hey, shotplacement is key.

havent had a malfunction in all the years

(though i dont shoot much, maybe 30 shots per month...) i only join my local shooting sports club when theres a party or celebration or something.

The Desert Eagle is a gimmick for men that are compensating for their micropenis.

It has very little real practical application. It is too big and bulky for CCW or daily carry. Maybe a night stand gun? Bear hunting? The 50AE is certainly powerful enough for bear hunting, but the maniacs that bear hunt with handguns swear by their "error proof" and "never jams" revolvers in .50S&W. They are stupid enough to tangle with bears at close range but not stupid enough to bring a semi-auto
