I always thought it was an interesting design and would be fun to play with. Too bad we'll never see them unless someone decides to make a domestic clone.

I know. Weird how at one time they were $200 imports and parts kits everywhere.

As for modern, Kalashnikov Concern USA has been putting out quality stuff at reasonable costs.

If they can ramp up production and broaden their lineup some, they'd be king of the US market.
