Off to a great start I see.

That's not me being snarky, I just have a filter that corrects "social" to "bullshit." It's almost always accurate, bullshit justice, bullshit science, bullshit work etc.

It doesnt matter if you dont accept it. Its truth. Deal with it. Also your reply here didnt rebuttal anything about what I said and rather youre just ranting about central planning I think?

I did my best to respond to your points, was there on in particular you felt I didn't address?

Central planning is the core element of socialist theories I oppose. From what I've seen of history it only ever results in corruption and evil.

The point is the son is taught how to correctly establish himself in the world. If the fathers authority is good, the son will pick up the reigns. If the authority is terrible, the son will walk a different path. Its only ever been about teaching people the proper process of thought and action.

Right and that's fine, because good or bad parenting the son eventually is free to make his own decisions.

With governments it's the opposite. Their authority tends to increase over time rather than reduce. If we accept a government that's stronger than we are and has no mechanism for cutting it loose then it will eventually become our enemy, whether it starts that way or not.

Random bad leadership strawman to support lolburt ideals. Try harder.

Not true whatsoever and a huge exaggeration fit for a woman. Keep sucking the tit of american propaganda.

Ok, you said you were interested in arguing in good faith, this isn't that. I apologise about the bullshitism thing if that's what's getting your hackles up but if this is going to be the level of our discourse then there's not much point.

Its because they deliberately taught us how to act as slaves rather than as strong men/ women. Teaching people how to think is all that matters.

Yes, that's my point. Socialism teaches people to act like slaves. If children are brought up being taught that the highest virtue is to do what the leader says and rely on the vanguard party for everything, then they will have no capacity for self organisation and self determination when it counts. Eventually there will be a bad leader and no one will know how to resist them because they've spent generations practicing compliance.

If people are going to be strong and able to stand on their own two feet then that needs to be their day to day lifestyle. Rights and duties that are not practiced cease to exist.

Maybe, just maybe, if he wasnt assassinated it wouldnt have fallen apart? You do realize that Rome was on its last legs already as a crumbling republic and Caesar was the one who stepped in to make the necessary centralized changes?

I agree the republic was corrupt and caesar (presented himself as) a reformer. I don't agree things would have been better if he hadn't been assassinated though. He chose an excellent heir, Octavian was the best successor he could possible have hoped for and a pretty good ruler. He honestly produced political miracles out of impossible situations. But the new system they put in place still rotted within only a few generations. It became a far worse slaveocracy than the republic had been and completed the destruction of the roman nation.

But, knowing you, theres no way in hell youd recognize his accomplishment as a dictator and general. Youve got this retarded fantasy that translates to; because it fell, that means it was scuffed by mr dictator. Not realizing or refusing to accept that his made righteous and necessary changes to the empire before he was killed. Good grief.

I recognise him as a political and military genius but I don't think he was righteous. Fundamentally he was a populist using political strife to lever himself into power. He was highly effective in doing so and his techniques are worthy of study but I don't think as a man he should be emulated.

Except in Germany, you mean. They arrested and killed them. But, you knew that already.

Did they? It's very hard to get an accurate picture of life in the third reich, it's either glorified by it's proponents or demonised by the jews.

That said it's hard to picture institutions like the gestapo and gefepo attracting righteous and trustworthy men. I think it's reasonable to assume there were evil and corrupt men in at least some positions of power.
