Somehow there are shortages of appliances like refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc. I'm told there are supply chain issues. But flat screen TVs? Stores are full of these things.

This is absolutely and utterly true. I own a half-interest in a small mom-n-pop shop in Eugene, Oregon, at a location that literally no one under the sun can go broke in because of it's location - but it's "owners" are such fucking stupid shit-bags they spend every single penny the store earns on vacations and Amazon shopping sprees and what-not, regardless of my warnings and threats to sue them into oblivion.
