Most preppers are delusional. They think they're fucking Rambo, the "hero" of the story, and that somehow they're going to fend off 10,000 starving city-dwellers all on their little lonesome. Or that somehow those same masses of city dwellers will somehow miss them because 'they're in the hills', or some shit. This, despite the fact that the very first thing normies do when the city is in trouble is - head for the hills!

The most important thing you can have as a prepper is at least - at least - a thousand like-minded, heavily armed neighbors you can forge a small army with, and who're willing to put their lives on the line for your collective good. Because you're going to need it; all the lone wolf preppers are already dead, they just don't know it yet.

I remember years ago dropping by that sub. The top post was "How much cash do you have in your BOB?" There were about 70 responses and the highest amount was $50. Closed the sub and never looked back.

One of the things I regret not doing is grabbing dog food when it was being given out during a shtf situation. I didn't have a pet so I passed on it.

I could've used it to curry favor with the neighbors. I mean fuck them because they always stole my avocados but still ... it's just one of those things that run through my head.

But holy cow as much as I don't want to see the end happen it's going to be so funny the first few days.
