Do you trust buying Chinese devices, like smartphones or computers? I see people on forums saying they are good, but I still don't trust them. Anybody here owned anything Chinese?
I trust them more than American devices. For one, even if they spy on me it doesn't matter. And also I know for a fact that all American devices are designed to spy on me, while I am only very strongly convinced that the Chinese ones are doing the same. But again, I don't care if chinks are spying on me. They can't hurt me with the knowledge, unless they sell it.
Also, obviously treat the stuff as if it was spying on you to begin with.

They're trading information, so it does matter. Chinese communist hierarchy are the same cult as the jews and progressives and fake right. It goes through silicon valley, nato and thusly
I meant that it doesn't matter in the context that the question of trust is the wrong question. Just assume that every device is compromised unless proven otherwise. Especially smartphones.
If the chinks are spying on me at least there are a bunch of extra steps before people that matter get the data, so that makes them slightly better. Unless they all are really connected this well, in which case it doesn't matter since all devices would be equally bad.
Yes, every smartphone is essentially Chinese. Doesn't matter who designed them, the Chinks can backdoor them any time they want because they run the factories.
That said, Honor and ZTE phones have been decent. Some odd UI choices because the Chinks are autistic. Motorola is a Lenovo subsidiary and makes arguably the best cheap phones.
