Define "general use"? They're draft horses, so manual labor is their strong suit. You can ride them, but its like driving a dump truck: not too fast and not always a smooth ride. Get two for plowing or pulling a cart, four if you intend to get a hitched wagon (think Budweiser cart).

If you have the space and time, they're fun. Good to have a donkey if coyotes are around your area, donkeys will go after coyotes like dogs go after niggers.

Tesla service and support is pretty famously not great.

Even here in the town they're sort of from! I love how popular they are here, though. It enables me to buy really nice used Benzes from old ladies up the street who don't need them anymore as far as they're concerned. They're probably right, an electric golf cart is all they really need to go on the short little errands they run, so the ultra-hipster-super-golfcart Tesla is great for them; and for me!

Wife and I were driving across South Dakota to see the Badlands. If memory serves me, there were 450 Wall Drug signs from Sioux Falls to Wall Drug (about 300 miles).

Shit like that is why I will always travel by automobile. Can't get that on a plane.

I drove across the US which included across South Dakota and remember seeing all those signs but thinking to myself "BUT WHERE IS IT THOUGH???"

I'll be honest it's a pretty good way to generate tourism because everyone who goes by is going to be wondering why there are 500 signs for a town that's still 4 hours away. I stopped there for gas and stood there flabbergasted like "This is it??? This is what all the signs were for??"

For a tourist trap, it was better than I expected. Can't imagine it is, but Wall Drug could be the most popular non-natural tourist destination in the state.

Its a road trip bucket list item...but not as good as Wally World.

Coffee didn't kick in early enough. Personally conder Mount Rushmore "natural" even though its a man-made carving. National parks / monuments to me fit in "natural" category.
