Aside from the odd disagreement we have, which is primarily a difference in opinion of an old man and a young woman, we are like peas and carrots. We live in the country, with our daughter, my other children from a previous marriage, and are happy. We tend garden, and will eventually turn our land into a farm. And we both love it. The reason is the same everywhere in the world in every time period. Once you understand how it works its undeniable. Its simple game theory. It can be proven mathematically. Its true for animals as well.
In a village where some men are marrying more than one woman some men will be marrying less than one women. The men with more than their fiar share will tend to be older and wealthier. They will also tend to have personality traits like high acquisitiveness, high aggression, or high libido. These are not monogamous traits.
Younger, poorer, less aggressive males will have to wait a longer period to wed if the wed at all because a lack of available females. Nice guys and team players tend to go extinct in these conditions. Genetic drift will favor more aggressive males with higher libidos. Men in the village will start to kill each other or they will raid other villages for females. Men who work hard to take care of one set of children by one wife will be outbred by men who steal from and enslave (or tax or charge interest on) other men to support multiple wives . The rich guy wins. If you can see why this arrangement is unstable for a village, you can see why its unstable for a country of 100 million.
Lack of available women will incentive men to marry younger and younger girls to make up for the loss of available fertile women. This is why polygynists like mormons or afghan warlords or aboriginal australians all go for the child brides. Economics of females as a resource.
Polygyny and polygamy in general are a poor allocation of reproductive resources leading to reproductive disparities and this leads to economic disparities. Men are not incentivised to work harder in a society. They are incentivized to steal from and kill each other. They are incentivised to make war. The inability of males to efficiently distribute females among their own population accounts for all war and the majority of theft and violent crime.
Cold climates favor monogamy very heavily because a society where each male works hard to support a single female and a small number of children is the only model efficient enough to work. This is why white guys are less rapey, more cooperative, less corrupt and have a better work ethic than most shitskins.
While divorcing and marrying someone much younger than you is not polygamy in a legal sense, it is in an evolutionary sense. Only older wealthier guys can afford the divorce rape and then go one to marry again. If you, at 43, marry a 25 year old, some other 25 year old male has one less 25 year old woman to marry. Even if you hadn’t already reproduced with another female, by going so far below your age you are causing a massive reproductive inequity.
In northwest europe (excluding ireland) you see the highest IQs and the highest levels of monogamy AND the smallest age disparities between men and women in marriage AND the lowest corruption. As you move south and east within europe, you cross the HAJNAL LINE where age disparity between bride and groom is much larger and the people have lower IQs and the countries are more corrupt. As you keep going you eventually hit the muslim can’t countries that allow legal polygamy.
But what you have done causes the same artificial scarcity of females that de jure polygyny does. It causes the problems you see within europe on the shittier side of the Hajnal Line. Evolution doe not care about your divorce paper. Your behavior leads to bad countries.
