Actually, I believe they are saying when movies are upscaled from 1080p, they look like shite, and your 4k ultra is going to make it worse until they make more jew content to fit 4k dimensionally.

Meh, 1080 at home as opposed to 22 something in the theater, I’ll take home every time, and I didn’t waste money on a technology that may never see its full fruition.

Btw, 4k movies make a marked difference still on 1080, as far as I can tell. Of course I’m a half blind old fuck, so, whatever

That's because you're downscaling 4k/2k to 1080. You shouldn't see any issues whatsoever.

There was a theater I used to frequent that had a zero tolerance policy for talking or cell phones during the movie. They would kick you out the first time it happened. They basically made a nigger free movie theater and didn't have to say "no niggers" on the building. It was amazing.

The last time I bought a tv I spent time looking for a stupid tv. They are all lower def, so, cool I guess.

Honestly, the only real use I have for a tv is the local news and the once a decade Zelda. I hardly care about resolution or aspect ratio. Can I see and kill Ganon? Good deal

Depends on the size of the monitor and how close you sit to it. At 10-12ft for a 50" screen there will be some minor difference. Drop that to a 42" and you'd never be able to tell 1080-4k. Put your face 3ft from a 50" and you'd be able to see the difference between 4k and 8k. The high definition part of your vision is only about as big as your thumbnail when held at arms length. This means distance and size matter in regard the the observation of pixel density.

They look like shit because they're GCI and because they're filmed with digital cameras. The old films still look amazing because they were filmed on celluloid.
