We have the ability to produce nearly endless energy. The issue isn't batteries but length, speed and quality of storage. All supposed to be fixed by now and honestly I believe in some lab it had been. Like @x0x7 said, won't matter. They want us dependent on their shitty infrastructure to maximize control.
