I think this is a script that constantly presses a key every 30 seconds so OP appears “online” to his boss.

F keys don't stop at 12. That's just how many your keyboard has room for.

Fair enough. I don't think I've ever seen F13+. Old SPARC keyboards used to have some different keys like copy and paste.
