Of the 2896 total prosecutions, I’d love to see the breakdown of race and country of origin.
The only people the administration is refusing entry to whenever possible are the Cubans fleeing Castro. We send them back and turn them over to the regime to prosecute them (and their family and friends) as they see fit.
I would imagine that any Caucasian trying to cross would be prosecuted as well.
