Summary- Macedonia is a poor, small country that wants to join the EU cuz they’re dumb.
Greece was blocking their acceptance because having the name Macedonia was somehow detracting from the historical glory of Greece, the shithole.
So they rammed through a name change to North Macedonia which the Macedonians hate.

Now Bulgaria, which also has clout, is insisting that Macedonia change their constitution to acknowlege that the Macedonian language is really just Bulgarian (which it sort of is) and a whole bunch of other bullshit about Bulgarian/Macedonian history. The Macedonians know they will get fucked by the technocrats like Leyden in this deal.

This has also stirred up ethnic Albanians who have some sort of claim on part of Macedonia as the nation of “Ilirida” which seems like another land grab by muzzos like Kosovo.
