Haha I just saw this on 3 Minutes of Avaition. Absolutely amazing. That is a very skilled pilot right there.

Those boring straight runways aren't enough of a challenge, I guess.

That touchdown while turning was impressive.

👍

Yeah, I did not know a Cessna(?) could turn that well, albeit with screeching tires just making a slight turn. Pretty bad ass!

fun fact

definition of a good landing - one you walk away from.

For people who don't know even when your engine is out you can steer the plane with your rudder and once your wheels touch the ground you actually have differential breaking meaning the brakes for your right foot and your left foot control the right foot brake and the left wheel break respectively so you can actually just hit the right foot brake and the right wheel will lock up which will definitely turn that plain hard to the right on the ground. I imagine that's what he did when his right will first touchdown and that's why he was able to negotiate that curve. Not to mention he's still flying until all wheels are on the ground. And even when all wheels are on the ground when you've got any Ford speed your rudder will still turn that nose left and right. Furthermore when you're gliding down you can control the spot where you're going to touch down a lot by deciding to land faster or slower and keeping the nose up until you run out of speed. Additionally you can raise and lower flaps to make yourself land near or further down the runway or in this case the street. So you actually have a ton of control in all directions until you completely run out of AirSpeed or until you're actually on the ground and no longer moving.

You couldn't pull that off on a spinning ball.

[ - ] Boardallday3 -1 points 1.8 yearsJul 17, 2022 19:59:07 ago (+0/-1)

Yeah, you actually can. Don't be fucking retarded. Coriolis effect is a thing you can see yourself with a simple pendulum making lines in sand, or just flushing the toilet.

The Heavens (infinity) are above and Hell is below. It's a spherical configuration.

[ - ] AOUsNameIsDavid 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 17, 2022 21:28:30 ago (+0/-0)

No, you really fucking cant. The only retards here are people parroting jewish nonsense. Try landing a moving object on something spinning 1000mph whilst travelling at 66,666 mph.

You globetards genuinely dont comprehend how utterly retarded the heliocentric model really is. The heavens are above our flat plane, seperating us with a firmament and hell is below our flat plane. You cant actually have an above and below on a sphere you literal retard.

Handled that curve like a champ!

Now do LA in rush hour traffic!

Remember although this video started when he was fairly down low he actually was up higher and could have seen the long stretch of the road for the next 2 miles and seen that not many cars were on it and it was very wide.

[ - ] Crackinjokes 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 08:14:29 ago (+0/-0)

I'm actually more impressed that he missed those cars then that he could land it on the turn of the road. You can actually maneuver light plains very easily on the ground even at speed. The strange thing about this is he had enough power in the engine to rev it to move it the last little bit after he had already stopped near the side of the road. So I'm not really sure what the issue was to cause the plane to need to land unless he was having a health problem like a heart attack pain or something.

Imagine a nigress trying to do this

[ - ] JoesLegHair 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 07:27:16 ago (+0/-0)

Engine was still running, any story on why he decided to put it down there?

[ - ] Anus_Expander -1 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 07:33:33 ago (+0/-1)

Engine was OFF, the blade was turning from the wind only

[ - ] Crackinjokes 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 08:15:25 ago (+0/-0)

No. He was able to apply power to the engine after he had stopped to move it closer to the side of the road if you watch closely. So clearly the engine still had power. I'm guessing it must have been a personal health problem that he was enduring in the air like heart chest pains or something.

[ - ] Anus_Expander 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 16:33:06 ago (+0/-0)

of there was just enough engine power to move the plane a little on the ground

[ - ] Anus_Expander -1 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 16:33:29 ago (+0/-1)

or the other engine was working

[ - ] JoesLegHair 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 08:55:12 ago (+0/-0)

Did you actually watch the video to the end?

[ - ] Anus_Expander 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 16:32:32 ago (+0/-0)

I actually did. Do you think he landed on a busy road for fun?

[ - ] JoesLegHair 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 15, 2022 10:20:29 ago (+0/-0)

That is why I was asking if there was a story to go with it, because the engine was very clearly running.

[ - ] heroinwinsagain -2 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 08:32:10 ago (+0/-2)

Faggot should have killed himself instead of risking other's lives.

[ - ] Shotinthedark -4 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 02:17:15 ago (+0/-4)

Sure a good place to land for him but.He could have killed lots of people on the road. This asshole decided his life and plane were worth more than anyone on that road.

[ - ] Crackinjokes 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 08:16:52 ago (+0/-0)

You actually have a lot of ability to control a plane even when the engine out. Saying he risked a lot of people's lives doing this doesn't take into account that you risk other people's lives every time you decide to drive on the road. You just underestimate someone's ability to control an airplane in an emergency landing. You have a lot of control in terms of how far forward or backwards you're going to land. He was able to control that plane completely to go between those cars and that wasn't an accident. He chose that spot and he chose very well and he had it well under control

[ - ] heroinwinsagain 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 14, 2022 08:33:13 ago (+1/-1)

He was completely in control of a fucking airplane in the freeway. Fuck off captain dick
